ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Boys and Girls Club of the Twin Cities says they have met their goal of raising $100,000.
As we told you in December, the Twin Cities branch was facing a deficit of $300,000 and announced they were being forced to close during the holiday break.
An anonymous donor stepped up and offered to match donations up to $50,000 to keep the centers open. The community stepped up and donated more than that, meaning the Boys and Girls Club exceeded their goal and raised more than $100,000.
They are still, however, looking for donations and volunteers to continue offering their services to children in need around the metro area. Click here to learn how to help out.
