MINNEAPOLIS - The owner of a Minneapolis delicatessen is cleaning up Monday after a vehicle came crashing through the front of the business overnight.
Minneapolis police say the driver of a GMC van was headed northbound on the 2500 block of Chicago Avenue South around midnight when he or she sideswiped another vehicle, lost control and careened into the front of the Chicago Deli.
Two people inside the van bailed and fled on foot. Police were unable to find them.
The large window was shattered and some tables damaged but the owner says he is open for business on Monday, and will serve food while repairs are being made.
