MINNEAPOLIS - It's back and bigger than ever.
The 8th annual U.S. Pond Hockey Championships begin Friday on Lake Nokomis. Tournament co-commissioner Justin Kaufenberg says it's the largest turnout in tournament history, with almost 300 teams and 2,000 players coming from 46 different states and multiple countries.
Night hockey has been added this year, using pucks illuminated by LED lights.
