CAMBRIDGE, Minn. - One week shy of his 3rd birthday, Jonah Baker is getting a harsh lesson about the grown-up world.
One week after his first fishing trip in the ice house he helped his father build, the shack was stolen off Skogman Lake.
"I was sad when it was gone," said Jonah after viewing iPad video of the fishing trip with his family last weekend.
Jonah's father, Kendal Baker, says the ice house was stolen sometime between Saturday night, January 19th, and Monday morning, January 21st.
"I couldn't believe it, I really couldn't believe it," said Kendal Baker, who spent two years building the ice house to share with his family and friends. Baker built the ice house in his driveway, where Jonah often joined him to hold a tape measure or hand him a board.
The Isanti County Sheriff's Department is looking for leads from anyone who might have information. The number to call is 763-691-2426.
When asked what he thought of the people who stole the ice house, Jonah answered without pause: "They're naughty."
