Arthritis affects people of all ages, including nearly 300,000 children across America. The Arthritis Foundation Upper Midwest Region is raising awareness of this debilitating disease in children, while kids with arthritis and their friends and family raise money to fight arthritis at the eleventh annual Juvenile Arthritis March (JAM) at Mall of America on Saturday, March 2, 2013.
JAM is an upbeat, positive day for kids and families to raise awareness that kids get arthritis too. The day begins at 7 a.m. with registration, continental breakfast, and a health fair. The walk starts at 8:15 a.m. and ends with a celebration ceremony. There will be many entertainment acts and all kids living with arthritis will be recognized. Individuals and teams are encouraged to participate and raise pledges to help fund the juvenile programs and services of the Arthritis Foundation Upper Midwest Region.
For more information about registration and volunteer opportunities visit the Juvenile Arthritis March website.
