WAYZATA, Minn. - Forget the fairway, they're golfing on a frozen Lake Minnetonka this Saturday at the 29th annual Wayzata Chilly Open. Festivites begin at 10 a.m. in Wayzata Bay and run through 4 p.m. This year participants are encouraged to sport an 80's theme.
Two nine hole golf courses will be set up to accomodate over 1,000 golfers. The event raises money for the Wayzata Chamber of Commerce.
You must pre-register to set your tee time by clicking here.
KARE 11's Bryan Piatt has more on the event and even gets a preview of the chili cook off that will be happening at the 19th Hole Hospitality Tent.
