MINNEAPOLIS - Another 1" to 2" is possible by early Monday, putting storm totals between 3" and 6".

It's likely the northwest metro, including Hennepin and Anoka Counties, have the best chance of seeing 4" to 6", while the southeast metro, including southern Scott and Dakota Counties, will likely only see a few inches. A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for much of the region until 6 a.m. Monday.

Travel conditions will be the worst west of the Twin Cities. Heavy snow, as much as 6" to 12" in central and west-central Minnesota, is likely by Monday morning. Snow combined with gusty northwest winds up to 45 mph are going to create blizzard conditions tonight. A Blizzard Warning goes into effect at 9 p.m. through Monday morning for cities including Fergus Falls, Morris, Alexandria, Willmar, Redwood Falls, Windom, Marshall, Montevideo and Canby.

Less snow is expected in southeast Minnesota and west-central Wisconsin. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for this region for a combination of rain, sleet, freezing rain and snow. Travel with extreme caution today and tonight!
