MINNEAPOLIS - Snow, snow, and here we go! Snow will fall most of the overnight and into the morning and then start to taper off Friday afternoon with around 2"-6" of new snow left behind.
Friday temperatures will warm from the teens through the twenties. Winds should remain light out of the northeast 5-10 mph. A quiet weekend will be sandwiched into a much stormier one. Another storm approaches on Monday and by then our temperatures will be much warmer in the low 30s.
A wet, sloppy snow is likely Monday through Tuesday. Timing and the track of the system is yet to be determined, so stay tuned but it looks like this one takes a little more northerly track and brings in plenty of moisture. We wrap up February next week and the temperature profile looks much more seasonal and not nearly as cold as it has been. Happy shoveling!
