GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The School of Engineering and Arts in Golden Valley was evacuated on Monday after about 15 students and faculty felt ill.
Officials tested air quality and carbon monoxide levels, but everything came back normal, according to Tia Clasen, spokesperson for the Robbinsdale Area School District.
Students were transferred to the Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion School at about 2 p.m. for more extensive testing. The Golden Valley Fire Department and Hazardous Materials Team was called in, but the further test also came back normal.
Clasen said the school is not sure what caused the students and faculty to feel sick, but the school has been cleared and classes will resume as normal on Tuesday.
Kids were bused home from the Spanish Immersion School, and students who normally walk home from the SEA School were bussed back so they could walk home.
