EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. - A woman who police say advertised herself as an "upscale escort" is being escorted through the criminal justice system after being busted for alleged prostitution.
Eden Prairie Police say they were tipped off to the activities of 44-year-old Lora LePoudre by the managers of her condo association at Southwest Station Condominiums. The association had received a letter informing them that LePoudre was a well-known prostitute doing business out of her condo.
Investigators learned that LePoudre has her own website, and goes by the name 'Hilary Holiday.' The website describes Holiday as an upscale escort and companion, and also features her hourly rates and reviews from clients describing sexual activity.
An undercover Eden Prairie Police Officer made contact with LePoudre by emailing her, and subsequently talking to her on the phone several times. On December 11, 2012, the two made an appointment to meet. Prosecutors allege that the officer walked into LePoudre's condo, was summoned to her bedroom and agreed to make a cash transaction.
LePoudre was arrested after opening a drawer by her bed and offering the officer a condom.
If convicted Lora LePoudre faces 90 days in jail and/or a $1,000 fine.
