MINNEAPOLIS -- For some it is entertainment. For others, gambling can be a dangerous addiction.
Here in Minnesota, problem gambling appears to be prevalent.
According to the Northstar Problem Gambling Alliance as many as 214,000 Minnesotans suffer from gambling addiction.
A 2011 poll says 86 percent of Minnesotans see gambling addiction as a problem.
And 67 percent say they did not know that the state covers treatment costs.
