MARTIN COUNTY, Minn. - Alcohol may have played a part in a rollover crash that killed a child in southern Minnesota.
The State Patrol website reports that 6-year-old Amonte King died when the Jeep he was riding in left the road and rolled on Highway 4 in Martin County.
The 26-year old female driver of the Jeep was seriously injured, as was a 4-year-old passenger. A third passenger, who is only 9-years-old, suffered minor injuries.
Investigators on the scene say alcohol was detected on the driver, and that she may face charges in the fatal incident.
