2 dead, 1 wounded after shooting at 'after hours' club

MINNEAPOLIS - Police say two men are dead and another person is injured in a shooting at a north Minneapolis party.

Officers were called to an "after hours establishment" on the 3800 block of Fremont Avenue North about 3:00 a.m. Friday on reports of gunfire. They found one man dead inside the building and another victim fatally wounded outside.

A third man suffered non-life threatening injuries and is being treated at Hennepin County Medical Center.

Police say about 100 people were in the building when the shooting occurred. Several people police say are connected to the shooting are being questioned but so far there are no suspects in custody.

Minneapolis Police Department ask anybody who was at the party or has any information to call the Tips Line at 612-692-TIPS (8477).
