ST. PETER, Minn. - Pat Meyer raised nine kids in the small Minnesota town of St. Peter, but she is getting ready to leave that town to search for one of her children who is missing.
Leann "Annie" Meyer hasn't been seen in weeks and both cars are gone from her Wheat Ridge, Colorado home.
Pat says Annie had a stable job and many friends. She says she wouldn't just disappear.
"Not without telling someone," says Pat. "Maybe a weekend, but not this long."
Wheat Ridge Police have no clues and a forensic team was back searching Annie's home again Tuesday.
"If something bad happened to Leann Meyer in this house, we don't want to miss that," says Commander Dave Pickett.
Annie last called her mother on Feb. 10. It was their weekly Sunday phone call. Since then, four Sundays have passed with no call from Annie.
"It's hard to sleep at night because you close your eyes and you see Annie," says Pat.
During our interview Pat began referring to Annie in the past tense.
"It's so hard not to think of it that way and I don't want to think of it that way but it's been so long."
Pat will drive to Colorado Friday with one of Annie's sisters to help in the search.
