CENTER CITY, Minn. - A Chisago County teenager is currently being held in a juvenile detention facility after authorities discovered a "hit list."
Sheriff Rick Duncan says his office was notified by the county probation department Thursday that a list had been recovered from a 13-year-old who is currently on probation.
The list was titled "People who won't be killed."
The teen is currently a student in the Rush City school system. When detectives talked to students there they learned that the suspect had compiled two lists, the one that was recovered and another that contained the names of students on the "hit list."
Investigators recovered the second list early Friday.
The 13-year-old was placed under arrest and taken to a secure detention facility in Lino Lakes.
