MINNEAPOLIS - It sure doesn't feel like spring outside, but the season is taking form on the 8th floor of the downtown Minneapolis Macy's.
The annual Macy's Flower Show opens on Sunday. This year's theme is "The Painted Garden," inspired by southern Asia.
Bachman's has been the workhorse behind the show for the past 50 years. The show uses 24 truckloads of flowers, soil and plants and requires 3,000 hours of labor.
