NEW PRAGUE, Minn. - Just a day after a shooting hoax at New Prague schools the middle school was hit again with another threat.

This time it was a bomb threat emailed to staff, according to Superintendent Larry Kauzlarich. An email came in around 8:30 Thursday morning with the subject line "Read or Die." The email stated there were bombs around the school and the building would blow up within 30 minutes, Kauzlarich said.

Students were evacuated to a nearby ice rink. Police searched the school and cleared the area within an hour. Students returned to the building and classes resumed as normal around 10, the superintendent said.

Kauzlarich does not believe a student is behind this latest hoax. 21 emails were sent, all from different IP addresses.

Parents were allowed to take their students out of school if they wanted. KARE 11's crew saw several parents leaving the middle school with kids.

"It's very frustrating to think that there are people that would take advantage of a situation like we had yesterday which is very upsetting to families," Kauzlarich said.

The email was turned over to police and the US Marshall for investigation.

Meanwhile, Marsh Halberg, defense attorney for the 12-year-old allegedly behind Wednesday's hoax, said his client has been charged with terroristic threats and making a false emergency call. The student remains in juvenile detention Thursday. Halberg said he doesn't believe his client is fully aware of his actions.

The student has a court hearing on Monday where it's expected he will ask to be released to his parents.
