MINNEAPOLIS - Defending Class 3A champion DeLaSalle will play for another title.
Reid Travis had 30 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Islanders past St. Paul Johnson 86-59 in the semifinals at Target Center on Thursday. Travis shot 12 for 15 from the floor for DeLaSalle (29-1), the top seed in the tournament.
Luke Scott added 20 points for the Islanders, who will meet undefeated Austin on Saturday for the championship. The Packers (30-0), the No. 2 seed in the field, needed overtime to top Marshall 68-65 in the other semifinal, a game that was tied 16 times and had 17 lead changes.
Zach Wessels scored 20 points for Austin, which lost in the quarterfinals last year but has not won a state title since 1958.
