GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - The National Weather Service says there is a 50% chance that the river in Fargo and Moorhead, Minn. will reach 38 feet. That would make it one of the top five floods in its history. Volunteers are in the midst of a 10-day campaign to fill a million sandbags at Sandbag Central.
A group of volunteers from Headwaters Relief Organization will head to Fargo on Friday, April 5th to assist with sandbagging efforts.
Jason Hoffroge, with Headwaters spoke to KARE 11 Sunrise about their trip.
