WORTHINGTON, Minn. - Good news and bad news as the people in Nobles County recover from the snow and ice storm that hit April 9.

Nobles Cooperative Electric says power has now been restored to more than 4,200 customers.

Some had been without power since last Tuesday.

At the same time, KARE 11 has learned that the city of Worthington will lose 50 percent of its trees. City officials had initially put the number at 25 percent.

Damage is expected to top $7 million.
