MINNEAPOLIS - You can blame Jerrid for this winter wonderland, that's what his hometown did today in Montevideo, but you cannot blame Belinda.
She is as fed up as the rest of us. During Wednesday night's late news, in a moment of utter disgust, Belinda Jensen bid farewell to her forecasting clicker as it had betrayed her love of spring.
Nothing about this Spring makes sense.
Many of you were confused, twice on Thursday, when in near white out conditions a statewide tornado drill went off.
That was planned but likely was off your radar when the snow got on it.
On Thursday KARE 11 loyalists sent us photos of this unlikely day, like bewildered ducks in Burnsville and stranded robins sticking close to one metro area tree.
A viewer with a good sense of humor about Thursday's dump sent us a flip flop photo montage and Spencer and Parker Olson did their bit in keeping the snowman poulation strong in Excelsior.
One gal in Andover went ahead and had that drink on the deck, you go girl.
But 4-year-old Finn McMullen is nearing his breaking point.
"This weather is kind of cold, brrr, its cold," he whimpered in an iPhone video his mom sent to KARE 11.
I'll balance him out with my other pal, Maddie Logelin, of Los Angeles, California.
"Hi Minnesota, it's always like this in California," she cheerily proclaimed while dancing in her backyard.
The temperature during her happy jig was 77 degrees.
In her defense she does spend a fair amount of time here in Minnesota with her grandparents.
