SAINT PAUL - The City of St. Paul is asking for your help to clean it's parks this Spring.
The city has launched the #CleanupStPaul campaign after weather forced the cancellation of the annual Citywide Park Cleanup event for the first time in 27 years.
Participants of #CleanupStPaul are asked to go out and collect trash at a park, take photos of their full trash bags and upload them to Facebook or Twitter. If using Twitter, use the #CleanupStPaul hashtag. If using Facebook, tag the St. Paul Parks and Recreation page. Anyone who uploads photos will be entered into a drawing to win a four pack of single day admissions to any city-operated aquatic facilities.
#CleanupStPaul runs through May 10th.
KARE 11's Bryan Piatt picked up trash at Mounds Park Monday morning and learned more about the campaign.
