BUFFALO, Minn. - A body has been found during a search on the Crow River in Wright County on Tuesday night.
The adult man's body was found hung up in debris about a mile north of Highway 55, according to the Wright County Sheriff's Department.
Officials said the search effort was in response to a missing Rockford man. Samuel Gustafson, 26, was last seen in the early morning hours of April 21 when he left a friend's home in Rockford. The following night his shoe was found in a parking lot.
Gustafson, who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia, did not have medication with him at the time of his disappearance, according to family.
The body has been taken Midwest Medical Examiner's Office for identification and cause of death.
