ST. PAUL, Minn. - Mechanics have some work ahead of them after a Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA) bus ran off the road and hit a ditch Thursday morning.
It happened on Shepard Road West just off I-35E. St. Paul Police spokesman Howie Padilla says no passengers were on board and the driver was not injured.
While the cause of the crash is under investigation, the MTVA says the bus driver has been placed on administrative leave and will undergo drug tests, which is standard policy.
A spokesperson tells KARE 11 the bus was heading back to the MTVA garage when the accident occured.
