WYOMING, Minn. -- A call of a man burned at a Wyoming, Minnesota house Saturday led to the discovery of an illegal fireworks operation.
Just before noon, officers from the Wyoming Police Department responded to a report of a 30-year-old male who suffered first-degree burns to his hands, arms and face.
Authorities determined the man's injuries were caused by a minor explosion in a detached garage at the home on the 7000 block of Lake Boulevard.
In the process of the investigation, officers discovered materials consistent with manufacturing fireworks type explosive devices.
A search warrant on the property revealed a small illegal manufacturing operation of 2-3 inch mortar-style aerial fireworks.
Investigators arrested two other men at the home. All three could face felony charges.
The ATF and St. Paul Bomb Squad were called in to assist local authorities.
