ST. PAUL, Minn. - Crews are working to recover a body that was spotted in the Mississippi River near the Ford Dam in St. Paul Friday.
St. Paul Police sergeant Paul Paulos confirms that there is a recovery mission underway after someone spotted the body in the water around 9:30 a.m.
At this point the identity of the person is unknown.
The location is near the place where another body was pulled from the Mississippi Wednesday morning. That person was identified as 18-year-old Dakotah Coach, a teen from western Wisconsin.
School officials in St. Croix County, Wisconsin told parents that Coach and 16-year-old Ericka Borgstrom jumped from the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis in an apparent suicide pact.
Borgstrom's body has not yet been found.
