GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Although it seems like it, Memorial Day doesn't ALWAYS bring miserable weather... but it does fall right in the heart of our rainy spring season.
Temperature-wise, Memorial Day high temperatures average out in the low 70's with morning lows in the low 50's. But it's the chance of rain that tends to spoil the party more often.
We see rain 50% of the time on Memorial Day in Minnesota and that goes to 60% when you include the whole weekend.

Looking at the past 10 Memorial Days, there has been rain four times, and no rain six times.
Playing the numbers, that means we're due for some rain.
