STAPLES, Minn. - A nine-month methamphetamine investigation involving multiple law enforcement agencies resulted in six arrests Wednesday in Todd County. More arrests are possible, the agency said.
On Wednesday, officials carried out search warrants in the 200 block of Dakota Avenue SE and Wisconsin Avenue SE in Staples, and one search warrant in section nine of Villard Township, according to a news release from Todd County Sheriff's Office.
These actions were based on information gathered during the nine-month investigation.
In Staples, officers arrested two people in connection with probable cause possession of meth with intent to distribute, and a third person in connection with felony possession of a controlled substance, according to the news release.
Wadena County deputies found a man named in one of the warrants in rural Menahga and arrested him.
In all, six individuals were arrested Wednesday and charged in Todd County Court Thursday afternoon: Thomas Jacob Brown, 42; Jennifer Faye Paul, 28; Raymond Earl Weekley, 40; Stewart Edward Weekley, 48; Alexander James Miller, 26; and Clinton Dennis McNamara, 22.
Officials are still looking for three people named in arrest warrants.
The agencies that participated in Wednesday's action are Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force (CMVOTF); Brainerd Lakes Area Drug Investigative Division (LADID); Staples Police Department; Todd County Sheriff's Office; and Wadena County Sheriff's Office.
