ST. PAUL - A sergeant with the South St. Paul Police Department is on paid leave after being arrested for possible drunk driving and fleeing police.

Rosemount Police attempted to stop the sergeant Tuesday morning after getting calls concerning his driving and possible damage to mail boxes.

Authorities allege the sergeant tried driving away before being stopped and arrested.

South St. Paul police say the investigation continues.
