BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. - Police say a 2-month-old baby missing from an apartment in Brooklyn Park has been found alive in St. Paul Tuesday afternoon and a woman and man were arrested.
Police say the mother knows the two suspects, but did not describe her relationship with them. Police do not know a possible motive.
"I'm so glad he is OK. I have no idea why he was taken, "said his grandmother, Esther Baker.
Earlier, police squads were dispatched to the Moonraker Apartments on 5505 Brookdale Drive North in Brooklyn Park after the child's mother awoke shortly after 6 a.m. Tuesday and found him gone.
She told officers she had put the baby down on a couch around 1 a.m. and when she came out to check on him at 6 a.m. he was gone.
