WASHINGTON - There are any number of reasons not to drink heavily before getting on a plane.
One, is that it can get you arrested.
A Philadelphia man is criminally charged after punching a United Airlines pilot last week at Dulles Airport in Washington D-C. Police say 53-year-old Donald Gee of Philadelphia approached a United Airlines pilot at the security gate after missing his flight.
Gee unleashed a string of profanities before challenging the pilot to a fight. As the words continued, Gee got up from a concourse seat, walking over and decking the pilot with a punch to the face.
The whole incident was caught on cellphone video.
Other airport employees stepped in, and restrained Gee until police got there. Gee has been charged with assault and public intoxication.
