ROBBINSDALE, Minn. - Morning rush hour traffic is moving again along Highway 100 in Robbinsdale after being at a standstill for more than 30 minutes due to a person threatening to jump off a bridge.

Police responded to the 42nd Avenue Bridge shortly before 7:30 a.m. after reports of someone threatening to jump.

Responders blocked off all lanes of southbound 100 and diverted traffic off the highway at the France Avenue exit. A bucket truck was brought in, and State Patrol spokesman Lt. Eric Roeske says the person was talked down successfully.

MnDOT traffic cameras showed traffic backed up for miles on the busy stretch.
