DULUTH, Minn. - A tip has led to the arrest of a suspect in the hit-and-run crash that occurred in Hinckley on June 17. The crash took the life of Trevor Langlois of Wyoming, Minn.

The 31-year-old suspect, also of Wyoming, Minn., was taken into custody by Minnesota State Patrol Troopers without incident at his parents' residence in Wyoming Wednesday morning.

The State Patrol was assisted in the arrest by the Anoka County Sherriff's Office.

The suspect is currently being held at the Pine County Sherriff's Office on suspicion of criminal vehicular homicide and hit-and-run.

Langlois, a 24-year-old Army veteran, developed truck problems and was pulled over on a freeway entrance ramp to I-35 in Hinckley when a vehicle hit him and the driver fled.

The State Patrol had asked for the public's help in locating a 2010 or newer Ford F150 XLT four-door pickup truck with right front damage and a missing right mirror and assembly.

A vehicle matching that description and registered to the suspect was recovered and impounded as evidence.

The tip from the public was received Monday night by the Bloomington Police Department who forwarded the information to the State Patrol.
