GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is speaking out about the state's budget bill, just signed into law.
Gov. Walker signed the two-year, $70 billion measure on Sunday and sat down on KARE 11 Sunrise to discuss what it means for residents of Wisconsin.
The budget lowers income taxes, freezes tuition in the University of Wisconsin school system and expands vouchers for private schools.
