GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Suspension training is becoming a growing trend in the world of workouts, and you don't need to go to the gym to be able to do it.
Fitness expert Chris Freytag stopped by KARE 11 Sunrise to show us the variety of exercises and benefits that are possible with suspension training.
"These suspension trainers use your own body for resistance," Freytag said. A variety of exercises are then possible, using your own body weight.
The suspension bands use webbed nylon straps and a carabiner to attach overhead to a ceiling or door. Freytag said the bands becoming fixtures at many gyms, but can also be made at home, using easy-to-find instructions online.
