MINNEAPOLIS - Investigators in Minneapolis are looking into the death of a 9-year-old boy after he was found hanging from a clothesline on the city's north side.
Minneapolis Police Spokesperson Cyndi Barrington confirms that neighbors found the boy hanging from a wire that was attached to this clothesline behind an abandoned home on the 3200 block of Bryant Avenue North Thursday.
Police and paramedics were there in minutes but were unable to revive the child. He died Monday night.
Barrington says investigators are reaching out to other children in the neighborhood who may have been playing with the boy, who was visiting from Georgia with his family. They hope to have an answer to what led to the fatal incident soon.
