GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - If you're still looking for a fun way to celebrate Independence day, consider bringing your party to Blaine. The Minnesota United soccer team is hosting the Atlanta Silverbacks at the National Sports Center Stadium in Blaine at 7pm.

United President Nick Rogers and midfielder Aaron Pitchkolan and defender Connor Tobin joined KARE 11 Sunrise on Thursday morning to talk about the big game that wraps up their spring season.

The Minnesota United will have a family fun zone on Thursday night, which will include music, a juggling group, face painting and a soccer inflatable for kids to test their kick.

Also, Captain Kyle Altman is retiring after Thursday's game to pursue his dream of medical school this fall.

Pitch and reserved seats are sold out, but general admission seats are still available. Fans are allowed to bring their own food and drinks to tailgate in the main parking lot before the game.
