MINNEAPOLIS - While some enjoyed sleeping in today, others were up early lacing up their running shoes.
2,600 runners participated in Thursday's Red, White & Boom half marathon, which started at 6:30 a.m. alongside Father Hennepin Bluffs Park in Minneapolis.
The festivities continue throughout the day with live music in both Father Hennepin Bluffs Park and Mill Ruins Park from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
