DULUTH, Minn. - A 61-year-old man is in custody after sheriff's deputies say he threatened to shoot a neighbor in the head over fireworks.
St. Louis County Deputies were dispatched to an address in rural Great Scott Township around 8:30 p.m. on a fireworks complaint. Before they could get there the complainant allegedly drove over to the home where the fireworks were being set off, pulled a handgun and pointed it at the homeowner's head.
Witnesses say the 61-year-old man repeatedly threatened to kill his neighbor.
Deputies arrived, took the man into custody, and a number of firearms were confiscated from his residence.
The man remains jailed on charges of 2nd degree assault, terroristic threats and damage to property.
