ST. PAUL, Minn. - A juvenile boy has been arrested in connection to a homicide investigation in St. Paul.
Police said the boy, who is not being identified, was taken into custody on Friday.
St. Paul police responded to a large fight in the area of Payne and Case Avenues before 10 p.m. on Thursday. When they arrived, they learned that a teen, later identified as Vincent Allison, had been shot and was in a parking lot near Payne and Lawson Avenues.
Allison was taken to Regions Hospital where he later died.
Earlier Thursday evening, police had responded to a report of a separate large fight. It remains unknown if the two incidents are related.
The shooting was not random, police said. They said the investigation into Allison's death remains open.
