NORTH MANKATO, Minn. - A 34-year-old man faces a host of criminal charges after leading officers on a high speed chase while naked.
Nicollet County deputies were called to Seven Mile Creek Park Sunday afternoon on reports of a nude man standing on a bridge acting in a lewd manner. When deputies arrived they were told the man had fled in a silver Ford Focus.
The suspect vehicle was spotted on Highway 169 by North Mankato police a short time later and officers began pursuit. After a short chase the suspect ran over stop sticks that had been deployed by the Minnesota State Patrol on Highway 169 near U.S. Highway 14.
The driver pulled off the highway and stopped but refused to exit his vehicle. Eventually officers broke the windows and pulled him out.
Police say the suspect, a 34-year-old man from North Mankato, is being held on charges of fleeing police, DWI and indecent exposure.
