CENTER CITY, Minn. - The search is resuming Tuesday for a man who jumped into the St. Croix River near Taylors Falls and did not resurface.
Chisago County Deputies were called to the Franconia Landing on the St. Croix Monday night after reports that a man leapt from a rock ledge on the Wisconsin side of the river and did not come back up.
The Chisago County Water Patrol and members of the Shafer-Franconia Fire and Rescue Unit launched a search for the missing man but were forced to call off operations around 9:30 p.m.
The Taylors Falls Fire and Rescue also responded and aided in the search.
Boats were back on the water with the onset of daylight Tuesday. At last word the victim had not been located.
