BLAINE, Minn. - The Schwan's USA Cup in Blaine is bracing for another day of sweltering heat.
More than 1,000 teams from 17 states and 17 countries are competing in this year's event.
All those teams will be "kicking cancer" on Wednesday. For every goal scored and shutout recorded, $1 will be donated to help fight cancer.
The youth players will get the chance to see the professionals in action Wednesday night as well. Minnesota United FC takes on Edmonton at 7:30 p.m. at the National Sports Center Stadium. General admission tickets are still available.
