NEW YORK - A challenge he threw out on Twitter was apparently enough to push a fan to jump on the field and disrupt Tuesday's Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Star Game.
Masone Dylan said on his twitter account that he would run onto the field if at least 1,000 followers retweeted him. Well, he got the requisite amount of retweets, so Dylan hopped onto the Citi Field playing surface and sprinted towards second base.
There he was tackled, and roughly bodyslammed on the turf by security personnel, then arrested.
Dylan was arraigned on charges of disrupting a sporting event. Prosecutors say he faces a possible one year in jail, where he presumably would be unable to access his Twitter account.
