BUFFALO, Minn. -- A 16-year-old girl was killed after a three-vehicle crash near Buffalo on Wednesday at approximately 5:30 p.m.
After an initial investigation the Wright County Sheriff's Office reports that Emma Rodelius from Maple Lake was driving on Dempsey Avenue NW in Chatham Township when the Ford Taurus she was driving pulled out in front of and collided with a dump truck. The Taurus then collided with a Mazda traveling west on County Road 35.
Rodelius was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Mazda was transported to Allina Hospital in Buffalo. The driver of the dump truck did not report any injuries.
The Buffalo Fire Department assisted at the scene. The accident remains under investigation by the Wright County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol.
