HINCKLEY, Minn. - A massive drug raid that included more than 100 law enforcement officers seized a huge crop of marijuana plants Wednesday afternoon, following a multi-million dollar bust near Hinckley.
Early Wednesday morning, federal, state and local law enforcement executed a federal search warrant on a parcel of land located near Hinckley.
"That is what scares me, who is growing 7 million worth of weed in good old Berry Township... that's the scary part," said a neighbor, Lance Hagman.
Federal agents seized over 5,500 marijuana plants, with an estimated street value of $4,125,000.
The plants were loaded into dump trucks and taken to an undisclosed location to be incinerated.
No information about the arrests was released by the Drug Enforcement Administration, which is leading the investigation.
