MILACA, Minn. - Details emerged Wednesday in the child sex abuse case involving a Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Deputy. Aaron Joseph Heuer, 29, of Isle, is charged with eight counts of criminal sexual conduct involving four boys.
Heuer is alleged to have coerced the youths into performing oral sex on him, while they were on a boat near the Lutheran Island Camp in Henning in June.
Court documents indicate that Heuer threatened to toss the boys out of the boat if they did not comply with his demands. All four complied.
He then allegedly showed the boys pornographic images on his cellphone and also masturbated in front of the boys, telling them that the "stuff" that came out was what "made babies."
Heuer was taken into custody in Otter Tail County and was jailed in Fergus Falls. He was charged on Tuesday.
Heuer lives on the Mille Lacs Lake shore just north of Isle, but persons at the house would not comment on Wednesday.
Heuer was the liason officer for Onamia schools. He is now on paid administrative leave from the Sheriff's Department. Sheriff Brent Lindgren had no comment on Wednesday. Onamia Schools Superintendent John Varner did not return calls.
Residents of Onamia are still reeling from revelations of sexual misconduct involving a teacher in the High School. Adam Lee, 33, pleaded guilty in June to having sex with a 17 year old female student and soliciting sex from a 13-year old. Lee is to be sentenced in September 27th
He faces the possibility of 15 years in prison and a $30,000 fine.
