HOLDINGFORD, Minn. - It's a story that begs for a "new drive-through" reference, but we'll do our best to refrain.
Repair crews in Holdingford will be doing a bit of repair work Tuesday after a car drove into the front of the city's municipal liquor store and bar.
Stearns County deputies were summoned to the building just after 3:30 a.m. and found a 2004 Pontiac GTO that had crashed through the front of the muni. The driver of the vehicle, a 23-year-old man from Sauk Rapids, told officers he was driving north on Main Street, lost control of his vehicle and plowed into the brick front of the building.
Deputies say the man was uninjured, and it appears that alcohol was not involved in the crash.
