BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. - Police say a man was shot and killed inside a Brooklyn Park home early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to the 6200 block of Winnetka Avenue on the report of a shooting around 2:00 a.m. When they arrived, they found an adult male who had been shot inside a home. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other adults in the home were uninjured. Witnesses told police that several male suspects were involved in an altercation with the victim and fled after the shooting.
The suspects are not in custody at this time. Police say the suspects likely don't pose any continued threat to the general public.
The Hennepin County Sheriff's Crime Lab is assisting with the investigation.
