MINNEAPOLIS -- The 35W Bridge in Minneapolis has a new look, at least temporarily.
The bridge was lit with teal lights Sunday evening to launch Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in Minnesota.
The Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance says the lighting is just the beginning of a month of events supporting ovarian cancer awareness, including the HOM Silent no More Walk/Run in Edina on Saturday Sept. 7.
The event raises money for ovarian cancer research. Organizers say registration is still open. Visit www.mnovarian.org for more information.
